The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is expanding its special funding for the digitalization of inter-company vocational training centres (ÜBS) in the field of continuing education and training. The increase in funding is taking place against the backdrop of the fastest possible expansion of the digital equipment of inter-company vocational training centres in the area of further and advanced training as well as a fundamental technical modernization of the nationwide network of vocational training centres. The aim is to reach not only skilled workers but also master craftsmen and managers and to bring digital know-how to small and medium-sized enterprises.
