At the 5th Expert Dialogue “Regulatory Framework for the Digital Economy” of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), issues of digitalization policy for the next legislative period and, in particular, institutional and cross-sectoral needs for action were discussed with members of the German Bundestag, the presidents of the Federal Cartel Office and the Federal Network Agency as well as representatives of industry and science. The expert dialog was launched at the end of 2015 and already covered the key topics of “data markets”, “telecommunications regulation” and “digital platforms”.
