The “Forum Kommunale Zukunft” from May 9 to 12, 2022 is the interactive information and communication platform where challenges, solutions, best practices and strategies for the use of digital applications in rural regions and cities will be presented and discussed. The online conference is organized by the German Smart City Association, ITS Germany, Charter of Digital Networking, EDASCA SCENetz der Regionen and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities to bring together practitioners and experts for the digital transformation of municipalities in German-speaking countries. In addition to the informative and interactive program, the Municipal Future Forum offers the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other participants in personal online meetings. Panel discussions and workshops will address topics such as the digital transformation of local government, mobility in rural areas, digitalization for crisis management and resilience after the turn of the century.
